| Abstract：Malignant neoplasms and diabetes mellitus are two kinds of common diseases which severely threaten human health. Many studies suggest that aerobic glycolysis is an important biochemical characteristic of malignant tumor cells and there is a causal relation between cancer and insulin resistance and diabetes. This article summarizes current knowledge about the relationship between diabetes mellitus and malignant neoplasms and possible mechanism. |
