Method ?A stratified sampling method was adopted to select 480 survey subjects, and the final sample size included in the analysis was 470. Firstly, the distribution of each variable in terms of the demand for cancer screening services and the willingness to pay was described through univariate analysis. Then, the influencing factors of the willingness to participate in cancer screening, the willingness to pay and the payment amount were screened through the binary unconditional logistic regression method. Results? The results of multivariate analysis showed that compared with residents aged 30-39, the demand for cancer screening services among people over 60 years old was lower (OR=0.391, 95%CI 0.212-0.719). Residents who consider cancer screening unimportant have a lower demand for cancer screening services (OR=0.111, 95%CI 0.048-0.254). Married (OR=0.218, 95%CI 0.064-0.742), employee medical insurance (OR=1.629, 95%CI 1.049-2.529), smaller family size (OR=0.829, 95%CI 0.712-0.965), lower annual family income (OR=0.466, 95%CI 0.288-0.756), no cancer screening popular science publicity (OR=1.597, 95%CI 1.055-2.419), had cancer personally (OR=0.084, 95%CI 0.016-0.439), no cancer screening physical examination (OR=1.909) Urban residents who consider cancer screening important (OR=0.194, 95%CI 0.070-0.536) are more willing to pay for cancer screening. (95%CI 1.210-3.010) Smaller family size (OR=0.889, 95%CI 0.758-1.044), no popular science publicity for cancer screening (OR=0.405, 95%CI 0.194-0.843), and participation in cancer screening physical examinations (OR=2.880) Residents with a 95%CI of 1.363 to 6.085 have a higher payment amount for cancer screening. Conclusion ?The demand for cancer screening services among urban residents in Wuwei City is relatively high, but the willingness to pay and the payment amount are relatively low. Relevant institutions and all residents should work together to promote cancer screening, enhance local residents" awareness of cancer prevention and control, and thereby increase the participation rate of cancer screening. |
