【Abstract】Radiotherapy is used as a major cancer treatment. Numerous studies have shown that radiotherapy affects the absorption and digestion function of patients and the intake of nutrients. Radiotherapy may also lead to dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, oral mucositis, esophagitis and other symptoms affecting patients' ability to eat and appetite, which in turn leads to malnutrition. Therefore, nutritional support and management are particularly important in tumor patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment, which helps to maintain the nutritional status and quality of life of patients, and improve the therapeutic effect and prognosis. This article reviews the nutritional impact of radiotherapy on tumor patients, nutritional screening and assessment, nutritional intervention and common modes of tumor radiotherapy, prevention and treatment of nutrition-related complications caused by radiation therapy, and challenges of nutritional management of tumor radiotherapy patients, with the aim of drawing clinical attention and attention to nutritional management of tumor radiotherapy patients, strengthening oncology nutrition-related training, and exploring new methods and strategies of nutritional management; in the In the actual clinical work, the rational selection of nutritional screening and assessment tools, timely prevention and treatment of radiotherapy nutrition-related complications, and the selection of appropriate nutritional intervention pathways provide a reference basis.
