| Abstract：The development history, scale, organizational framework and science research instruments of Zhejiang Cancer Hospital and Zhejiang Cancer Research Institute were describes retrospectively in this article. In the past 50 years, Zhejiang Cancer Hospital and Zhejiang Cancer Research Institute had made great progress in scientific research. The following summarized of the achievements:①The establishment of the first colorectal cancer cell line in China has filled the domestic gaps. ②The establishment of ovarian cancer model provides the perfect tool for the study of metastasis. ③The experimental and clinical study on gastric cancer has reached the international advanced level. ④The early diagnosis and personalized treatment of lung cancer play a leading role in China. ⑤The translational research on head and neck malignancies are developing rapidly. ⑥The personalized treatments of breast cancer come into the era of molecular target therapy.⑦The researches on esophageal cancer are in the ascendant, and the new emerges unceasing toward more broad and brilliance prospects. |
