| Gansu Province, as an underdeveloped province in northwest China, bears a heavy burden of digestive tract cancers. In response to national strategies such as the "Healthy China 2030" Plan Outline and the Implementation Plan for Cancer Prevention and Control under the Healthy China Initiative, Gansu Province initiated the Rural Cancer Early Diagnosis and Early Treatment Project in 2009. After more than a decade of development, it has formed a distinctive model. This article systematically reviews the implementation process of the Rural Cancer Early Diagnosis and Early Treatment Project in Gansu Province from four dimensions: implementation background, development stages, core achievements, and future prospects. |
