Under the context of constructing a research-oriented hospital, this article reviews and analyzes how Zhejiang Cancer Hospital leveraged its postdoctoral workstation as a pivotal platform for cultivating innovative medical talents. By establishing a high-standard organizational management system, assembling a high-level team of mentors, and implementing a well-resourced talent support framework, the hospital achieved remarkable outcomes in innovative talent development, scientific research projects, and clinical translation. Notably, it was recognized as the "Outstanding Postdoctoral Research Workstation in Zhejiang Province," the only medical institution to receive this honor. To further empower the postdoctoral workstation in strengthening the specialized cancer hospital and advancing research-oriented hospital development, this study proposes strategies addressing current challenges. These include expanding recruitment channels, exploring diversified training models, striving for independent recruitment authority, and fostering collaborative synergies with research-oriented hospital initiatives. |
