Abstract: [Objective] Analyzed the morbidity level and death level of thyroid cancer in Gansu Province in 2019 and the trend of thyroid cancer from 2010- 2019.[Method] According to the data quality audit and evaluation criteria formulated by the National Cancer Center, the thyroid cancer incidence (death) rate, standardized incidence (death) rate and cumulative rate of 0-74 years that met the quality control requirements in Gansu Province were calculated according to gender, age and region. [Results] In 2019, the incidence of thyroid cancer (6.89 / 100,000), the winning rate (5.50 / 100,000), the world standard rate (5.33 / 100,000) and the cumulative rate (0-74 years old) (0.48%) in 2019. The mortality rate of thyroid cancer (0.42 / 100000), bid rate (0.27 / 100000), world standard rate (0.31 / 100,000), cumulative rate of 0~74 years (0.03%), accounting for 0.31% of all malignant tumor deaths. Morbidity and mortality rates gradually increasing at ages 30 and 55, respectively, with peaks concentrated in the 45-50 and 60-65 age groups, respectively. From 2010 to 2019, the incidence of thyroid cancer was AAPC = 21.36%, 95%CI: 8.99%~35.12% (P <0.05), and the incidence of thyroid cancer decreased AAPC = -5.82%, 95%CI: -13.68%~2.87%, (P> 0.05); in the regional distribution, urban areas were higher than those in rural areas.[Conclusion] The overall morbidity level of thyroid cancer in Gansu Province is on the rise, so the disease prevention of high-risk groups should be strengthened and the knowledge of risk factors of thyroid cancer should be popularized.
